Welcome to “Nature in your hands: Exploring Biodiversity with NATRILY”

 – a course that empowers young people to explore nature and contribute to real science.

This interactive journey builds environmental awareness and connects students with biodiversity challenges in Europe.

Through wild orchids and butterflies—key ecological indicators—participants discover how species respond to climate and habitat change in two unique regions: Mount Olympus in Greece and the Carpathians in Poland.

The course trains students in:

  • Field identification

  • Ethical, geotagged observation using iNaturalist

  • And understanding how local data supports global conservation

This is more than learning—it’s real participation in science, culture, and sustainability.
